People were crowding the doors; edging ever so closely to get the best position before the doors opened. A storefront worker nicely tried to address the crowd. Giving information on when the doors where going to open, forming a single line, product pricing, etc, etc. Unfortunately, all of his efforts fell on deaf ears.
Once the doors opened, it looked like Walmart at Christmas. People pushing, shoving , making their way to the latest product the company had to offer. And yes; they made a list and they were checking it twice! Grabbing tons of products, pamphlets, brochures, samples, etc. If it was put out on a table for purchase; they grabbed it! My wife asked a clerk is this normal? The clerk replied, "every year it's like this and it gets worst every year!"
You'll never guess where all of this took place. But then again; keep reading this may all seem to familiar to you.
A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I attended our company's annual "big" event. This being our first event; it was great to see what new products and services they had to offer, meet people from around the world and take in the big city sites. My wife and I had a great time.
However, the stampede at the company storefront was truly unexpected.
Instead of being trampled by the hoards of people, we decided to lean causally against a wall and watch this calamity take place. As people whizzed by, some noticed that we were not trying to make our way into the storefront. There was no panic stricken look on our faces nor any sense of urgency in our demeanor. I like to believe people were thinking, "what do they know that I don't" or "what fools those two are; they are going to miss out on everything."
Regardless; of what they were or were not thinking, my wife and I came to one conclusion....
Bullet Proof!!!!
Yes, we were finally bullet proof when it comes to running a successful business.
Here's my new MLM philosophy on how to be successful in this industry:
Don't sell.
Don't recruit.
Don't say ONE doggone word to family & friends!
Build People. People will build your business.
I'm building a successful business and it feels great. And I didn't have to join the stampede to do so!
How did I finally get this way? I got the help I had always been looking for.....
I got Mentoring For Free.
